Review by Michelle Iwen: 'Throughout the work, Inahara interrogates the hegemonic able-bodied discourse, which serves to construct her bodily experiences as a form of abjection, finding alternate modes of embodiment in cultural texts. Inahara makes clear that her intent is to interrogate the idea of the fixed identity of disabled people rather than to construct a body-positive narrative identity for the disabled community.'
